Who we are

Royal Play is a media player for M3U and Xtream Codes playlists, on TVs, phones and tablets, with this website (specialview.store) for managing playlists. Royal Play does not provide, sell or host any channels, films or other content.

What we collect

Device: a device identifier shown as a MAC address (on phones and some TVs it is generated by the app), a one-way hash of the platform’s device id, the platform, model and app version, the plan and its expiry date, and when the app was last opened.

Connection: the IP address and the country it belongs to, recorded when the app starts, so the service can be supported and abused accounts blocked.

Playlists you add: their name, address (URL or server number), and, for Xtream playlists, the username and password, so the app can open them on your device.

App settings: favourites, channel order and similar preferences, so they survive a reinstall. A parental-control PIN is stored only as a one-way hash.

We do not collect your name, e-mail, phone number, contacts, location from GPS, or what you watch. The app has no ads and no third-party analytics.

Services the app contacts

The playlist servers you add (your provider), to load and play their content. Images from those servers may be cached on the device.

Our server, for activation, your playlists and settings, and for the optional “today’s matches” and “new on streaming platforms” rows (from football and TMDB data, fetched by our server).

Cloudflare’s speed-test servers (speed.cloudflare.com), only when you run Settings → Speed test.

How we use and share it

Only to run the service: activate the device, deliver your playlists to it, and give support. We do not sell or rent data. The reseller who activated a device can see that device’s status, country and playlists, to support their customer.

Security and retention

Data travels over HTTPS and is stored on our server. Device data is kept while the device uses Royal Play. Playlists stay until you delete them on the website (Manage playlists) or in the app.

Your choices

You can view, change and delete your playlists at any time from the website using the device’s MAC address and key. To have a device and its data deleted completely, contact your provider or the support address on the Royal Play store page.

Royal Play is not directed at children under 13.
